Over the course of the past couple weeks our class and the rest of the 4th grade has been researching endangered animals, and students have put together presentations about their endangered animals to share with the rest of the school. Last week, our class had the opportunity to share their presentations with the 6th grade at ACES. The students did a GREAT job on their presentations and were able to share lots of awesome facts about their animals and what we can do to help them. After watching the presentations, our audience voted on which animal they would like to see us help, and the votes are in. This year 4th grade is going to be raising money for.....the sloths!!!
During the week of March 12, 4th grade will be hosting a lemonade stand for our entire school, and all the money collected will be sent to an organization that helps sloths! With our help, we hope to try to move the sloths a little closer to being off the endangered species list, and instead sloths could be on the list of animals that are thriving in the world! More information on the lemonade stand will be coming soon.
Great job 4th graders, and thank you to all who came to see our presentations!!
